Assembly, Installation and Maintenance Instructions

One of my favorite TV commercials aired during the Christmas season a few years ago. Dad was trying to put together his little girl's new bike so she could find it under the tree the next morning. He was stumped, and neither him nor his wife could find the assembly directions. Unknown to Mom and Dad, their little girl was taking in the scene from behind the balusters leading to her loft bedroom. She promptly scurried to her computer in her room, looked up the company website, drilled down to the assembly instructions for her new bike, printed them and then surreptitiously 'floated' the directions down to be found by Mom and handed to Dad...all in 30 seconds.

Enable your customers to service themselves, anytime and virtually anywhere. Indeed, here's another excellent example of the "post - don't publish" rule. If your site becomes the primary repository of all the latest information, you - and everyone else - know exactly where to find all of the latest information.
